I am a Lecturer and Researcher with over 15 years of experience specialising in Nutrition Physiology and Metabolic Biochemistry, with applications in sport and chronic diseases such as diabetes and metabolic syndrome. I have published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers in high-impact journals, authored several book chapters, and secured over AUD 1.5 million in competitive and industry research funding. My research integrates molecular, clinical, and translational approaches, focusing on oxidative stress, immunometabolism, and nutritional supplementation. In addition to my academic role at Southern Cross University, I serve as Chair of the Queensland Regional Group of the Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA) and Chair of the Local Organising Committee for the NSA ASM 2025.
