REDMOND BARRY BUILDING, THE UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE

The conference will be held in the Redmond Barry Building at The University of Melbourne, located in the heart of Melbourne’s Parkville precinct. Opened in 1961, the Redmond Barry Building is one of the University’s landmark teaching buildings and was designed by University staff architect Rae Featherstone as part of the campus expansion master plan.

The venue features a number of large lecture theatres and teaching spaces and is conveniently located within walking distance of cafés, accommodation, museums, and Melbourne’s CBD. The campus is easily accessible via public transport, with multiple tram routes along Swanston Street, nearby train stations including Melbourne Central, and the new Parkville Station servicing the precinct.
