Dr Rachel Carey is an Associate Professor in Food Systems in the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences (SAFES) at the University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on policy and governance approaches for resilient, sustainable and equitable food systems. Rachel has a PhD from the University of Manchester and an MSc in Food Policy from City University, London. She is a member of the Advisory Committee to the UNESCO Chair in Food, Biodiversity and Sustainability Studies and a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Agriculture and Human Values.
